Whitney has been supporting the Ray C. Anderson Foundation since its inception in 2012. She has a diverse background in art, education, healthcare, and design and loves championing the role of positive psychology in climate action.
She currently manages procurement and installation for an expanding project base with Graceland Design Studio in Asheville, NC, bringing over a decade of experience in fine art, art history, and art education to her team.
Prior to joining the team at Graceland, Whitney spent 10+ years in staff development for Gillespie Dental Associates in Asheville, and she was a K-12 visual art instructor for Buncombe County Schools.
She holds a BA in Art History from Wake Forest University and Master of Arts in Teaching, Art Education from Western Carolina University.
She lives in the mountains of Asheville, NC with her husband/nature buff, their son, and their German Wirehaired Pointer.
