Jaap Van Joolen Receives 2022 Interface Sustainability and Sales Award

Jaap Van Joolen, global accounts director at Interface, recently received the 2022 Interface Sustainability and Sales Award, awarded at the Interface Sales & Marketing Meeting.

The honor was presented by John Lanier, executive director of the Ray C. Anderson Foundation, and one of Ray's grandsons.

As part of the award, Jaap was given the chance to award the prize money he received from Interface and the Foundation to a nonprofit organization of his choice. Jaap has chosen for his prize money to be granted to the Carbon Zero Youth Initiative (CZYI)

CZYI launched recently in Madison, Wisconsin to engage youth with the global effort to decarbonize the built environment and achieve carbon neutrality through education, exploration of related careers, and encouragement of carbon-conscious building decisions.
