Starting on Ray’s birthday, Tuesday, July 28, 2020, we kicked off a 15-week, interactive Facebook celebRAYtion that will allow us to look back at all of the past RayDays, with special focus on the organizations that have been with us since the very beginning. If you attended RayDay between 2013 and 2019, just know all memories are fair game and you’ll definitely want to check in each day. You just might see yourself in the videos and photos we will be sharing.
Our celebRAYtion will also have a giving component, because that’s what Ray would do in a time like this.
We are hosting a joint fundraiser for 13 of our favorite initiatives, and the Ray C. Anderson Foundation will match your donations to each of these nonprofits, dollar for dollar, up to $5000 each. Giving levels in this campaign are set to match the times we’re living in, so they start at $10.
Participation in this fundraising campaign allows you to be part of the solution by keeping key sustainability programs afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic.
You can donate as many times as you want, and support as many of the organizations as you wish.
Remember, these are the people that make RayDay so special every year. They’re the ones that bring you engaging opportunities and many of them are the ones that have entertained your kids at RayDay so well. Please help us celebRAYte them with your gifts.
